Ibis Ripley 29 (X01 Werx)
Details
Leave it to the legendary minds at Ibis to create a trail-dominating, brilliantly efficient, 29-inch wheeled work of art. Ibis's Ripley 29 X01-WX makes every trail more fun with a high-tech carbon 120mm-travel frame that includes all the goodies: dw-link suspension, super stiff eccentric links, and a beefy, threaded bottom bracket. While the frame is a gem, the wonder of this build are the featherweight, full carbon Ibis 941 Ultra Wide Carbon rims, which will have you leaving your competition, mouth agape, struggling in your wake. What's it all mean? This rig climbs like a race whip, slays the corners, and annihilates the downhills. Developed and crafted by some of the sharpest racing-centric minds in the industry; the snappy, efficient X01 drivetrain offers a wide-range of gear selection, which lets you run through your sprocket with the click of a finger, while spinning up rough, steep terrain. What about the drop back down? Don't worry, you'll have a rock-solid set of Avid Guide RSC hydraulic disc brakes for intuitive speed modulation. When you consider its weight and travel, the Ripley is fully capable of hanging with the XC crowd on climbs and the enduro guys on the descents, and it even has two water bottle mounts.
