When you're shedding every last gram for race day, mount a set of Bontrager's XXX TLR wheels and you'll be faster, period. These full carbon wheels feature technology borrowed from their Tour-winning road wheels with durability for serious mountain bikers. The offset spoke bed counters stresses from the spokes making a stronger, more durable wheel, while a vertical wall inside the rim provides radial stiffness. Plus the XXX wheels are tubeless ready; drop some Super Juice (sold separately) in there and leave the tubes, the weight, pinch flats and your competition behind you.
These wheels accept both Center Lock and 6-bolt disc-brake rotors.
These wheels accept tubeless and regular tires and tubes.
The rear tool-free hub features an incredibly durable and fast-engaging 3-pawl ratchet drive.
Bontrager's Torque-Sharing rear hub further stiffens and strengthens the wheel through improved load sharing.
The rear wheel's Offset Spoke Bed ensures that the spokes are evenly tensioned, which increases wheel strength and reliability significantly.
For easy repairs, these wheels accept standard replacement spokes.
