When you're racing against the clock you want every advantage you can find. That's why pro cycling teams rely on Bontrager's Aeolus 6.5 Wheels in important time trials at the Tour de France and triathletes race them during Ironmans. Designed by the aero master, Steve Hed, the 65mm rim cross section and unique shape offer superstar aerodynamics that slice through the wind like a surgeon's scalpel. And, the hand-made OCLV carbon clincher rims are laced to silky-smooth Swiss-made hubs with bladed stainless-steel spokes and locking aluminum nipples for speed and durability.

    Comments:

I've owned 3 of these wheels now for 2+ years (clinchers, F/R and a Ptap Aeolus 6.5), and except for delaminating the rear wheel, which was largely my fault (use proper brake pads), I have never once had to true these wheels, nor have I ever felt like they were holding me back. They are fast, dependable, smooth, and look great on my Soloist. Combine them with the new Bontrager aero tires, and they will probably be my most-used and most-raced wheel. They are THAT good.
