Tried Two, No Luck

By

Pros

Cons

  • Short battery life

Best Uses

  • Rear safety light

Comments:

This is NOT a headlight but a safety light. The first set I bought the headlight failed and the shop replaced it with another that also failed. I liked the idea of it's versatile charging system. I guess I got a bad batch but the shop called the factory which is where the second set came from and they agreed that they had a problem. I now use two Blackburn 3.0's on the front for night time commuting which is not enough for night time off road riding in my opinion.

Pretty good lights....

Cons

Comments:

Very bright little safety lights. The taillight will last several hours on one charge. The headlight, however, will only last three hours in flashing mode, not the 6 as stated. I've got two of the headlights, same for time both. I still like them, tho.

These lights are great. They charge easily off of any normal battery. They are very small so they look great on my road bike. They front beam is more to be seen than to see but so are all the other lights at this price. They make me visible to cars. I really like these lights

      Comments:

This is extremely small, if you are using to draw attention to yourself from cars that are ahead of you this is great. If you are trying to illuminate the ground ahead of you it has a really short range in Hi-Beam mode. It is a little anoying that you can't just swap out the battery, but the recharing tool works well when you remeber to use bring it with you, otherwise if you are on the road and the battery goes out, you are out of luck. The tail light is great for being noticed, it seems to hold a charge for quite awhile.

      Head light problems

      Comments:

Headlight will not come out of Demo mode and turns off every minute or so. I read directions before I left the store and took it out of Demo mode. I rode home without a problem, next morning it would only stay lit for a minute or so. This is the 2nd one I have had a problem with.
